The Five-toed Pygmy Jerboa (Cardiocranius paradoxus) is a species of rodent in the Dipodidae family. It is monotypic within the genus Cardiocranius. It is found in China, Kazakhstan, and Mongolia. Its natural habitat is temperate desert. It is threatened by habitat loss.
